I've put together a combination of my favourite sports bras, shorts and gym leggings. My staple pieces that are pretty much on rotation for what I wear for training. From comfort clothes to more ethically-sourced materials. Here's my top 5 and verdict:
1. Legacy 'Zhu' Sports Bra
My favourite sports bra EVER- in and out of the gym. Not only is it made from a sustainable bamboo material (which is super soft) but it also has a funky criss-cross, open, back too. Legacy is a local sportswear brand so I'm happy to support a local business plus it's not overly expensive. The soft, stretchy material and (only) £19.99 price tag makes this an absolute steal. It comes in a burgundy colour as well. A solid 9/10.

2. Nike (Recycled) Printed Leggings
I originally got these as a birthday present and they have been my go-to's ever since. As well as the cool geo-metrical pattern, they're super comfy, high-waisted (major key) and mould around the body well. I always feel safe, supported and confident in these. And it's a plus that they're from a recycled, sustainable material collection, made from plastic bottles! They come in my favourite monochromatic colour scheme and they've lasted me YEARS. A respectable 8.5/10.

3. Gymshark 'Adapt' Camo Seamless Leggings
I always try not to tempt myself with the latest Gymshark leggings but these ones are essential. The material is real thick (squat-proof approved) but real stretchy. And it makes me feel mentally and physically secure. Extremely high-waisted too. They came in several colours (blue, purple and black/grey) but as of now they also come in turquoise and pink, as well as some alternative patterns. A downside to these were that they cost £50, however, they're definitely worth it in the long run and do wonders for the peach... In conclusion: 8/10.

4. Gymshark 'Fit' Sports Bra
A classic racer-back sports bra, with a detailed twist. With cute side cut-outs and an elasticated underband makes it not only cute but practical. It is a low-support style so it's perfect for any weight lifting or low-intensity cardio. Plus, it came in 10+ colours, so naturally I have one in black/white and one in blue. This exact style isn't available now but there is a similar design on their website at the moment. A decent 8/10 for the 'Fit' sports bra.

5. Bo+Tee 'Attitude' Shorts
They're high waisted, a slinky material AND have cute tassels on the sides. What's not to love? Again, it comes in multiple colours (6, I believe) and the original design I have isn't available now, however, the improved version of the shorts are currently on the website for £26 named 'Fast Pace', featuring a cute, new, 'V'-shaped waistband. I award a worthy 8.5/10 for Bo+Tee.
